Today is day number eleven.
Theme song. imagine your health focus or blog is getting its own theme song. What would the lyrics be? What type of music would it be played to?
Theme Song
This was a hard one for me. I am a music lover and there are so many songs from which to choose. Which one relates to diabetes? Better yet, which one relates to the life I wish to live with a child with diabetes?
This one.
Love baby, love.
The musical Rent focuses on a group on young artists trying to survive in the face of AIDS during the late 1990s in New York City’s Lower East Side. The rock opera follows this group of friends over the course of one year.
A compelling question asked in the musical is, “How do you measure a year?” The answer lies in hope. The answer lies in love.
Seasons Of Love lyrics
Songwriters: Larson, Jonathan D;
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, a year in the life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life of a woman or a man?
In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned
Or the way that she died
It's time now, to sing out
Though the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love
(Oh, you got to, you got to remember the love)
Remember the love
(You know that life is a gift from up above)
Remember the love
(Share love, give love, spread love)
Measure in love
(Measure, measure your life in love)
Seasons of love
Seasons of love
(Measure your life, measure you life in love)
Love baby, love.

Perfect.
one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite musicals! love it! :)
Great choice - I love this song. (I was Rent on Broadway with the orginal cast). I also always relate to "Life Support" - I tend to sing along with a catch in my throat.
Just reading the lyrics brings tears to my eyes. I'm certainly not playing the video as I have to go out in public shortly.
"Measure your life in love!"
